Volunteers/Partners

Our branch has adopted the Wilbur Cross School in Bridgeport where many of our members volunteer as readers, tutors and mentors. This effort is organized through the School Volunteer Association of Bridgeport.

The branch also provides financial support to local community organizations such as the Mercy Learning Center, School Volunteers Association of Bridgeport, Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition, Housatonic Community College Math and Science Expo.

Members also take volunteer roles in other organizations such as the Women Build (Habitat for Humanity), the Housatonic Community College Women’s Center, League of Women Voters, local area hospitals and various community and religious organizations.
