Local Branch Scholarships

The Bridgeport Area Branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) awards approximately $5,000 in scholarship funds each year to local women who have not received prior scholarship aid from AAUW.
Applicants must be a resident of any of the following towns for at least two years: Bridgeport, Fairfield, Stratford, Easton, Trumbull, Monroe, Shelton, and Newtown.
They must have completed at least 30 college credits by June of any given year in order to qualify.
The deadline for completed applications is March of each year. The scholarships are awarded at the branch annual meeting in May of each year. For more information contact scholarship@aauwbridgeport.org
