Contemporary Global Issues

CGI is a study group focus on the state of international affairs and reads excerpts from the Great Decisions Briefing Book published by the Foreign Policy Institute. All meetings are held at Bayview 920 Sylvan Ave Bridgeport CT and scheduled at 9:30 am on the second Monday of the month. The 2008 schedule is January 14th, February 11th, March 10th, April 7(change due to school vacation week), May 12th, and June 9th.

In January, the group will continue with the Great Decisions briefing book for 2007 and discuss Central Asia: Three Power Resource Rivalry; Mary Ann Matthews will lead the discussion. At that meeting, the group will decide the order of topics to be reviewed and leaders for 2008. If anyone is interested in joining the group you can contact Merrillyn Decker at merrdeck"at"aol.com.
